Size guide
All Tajwar dresses come stitched in Small, Medium and Large. If you fall between sizes, or none of them fits, choose Custom size and we will stitch to your measurements.

Measurements are in inches. Body measurements. Allow ±0.5 inch; embroidered festive wear is cut with a little ease.
How to measure
- Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level under your arms.
- Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso.
- Hips: around the fullest part of your hips, with your feet together.
- Shoulder: straight across your back, from the edge of one shoulder to the other.
- Sleeve length: from the shoulder edge down to where you want the sleeve to end.
- Shirt / maxi length: from the highest point of your shoulder, next to the neck, down to where you want the hem.
Measure over light clothing and keep the tape snug, not tight. If you are unsure, measure a dress that already fits you well and add about 2 inches to the bust, waist and hips measurements.
Custom size
For a custom size, we ask for:
- Bust / chest
- Waist
- Hips
- Shoulder
- Sleeve length
- Shirt / maxi length
- Trouser / garara / lehnga length (optional)
- Your height (ft / in) (optional)
We confirm your measurements on the order confirmation call before stitching starts. Because custom-size dresses are made for you, they can only be returned if there is a fault or a stitching error on our side. See the returns policy.
